Governance
Governance adds policy, review, quarantine, approval, replay, and audit functions to data flows. It is not a standalone compliance platform.
Users define intent:
The runtime applies Protection, Classification, Policy, Quarantine, and Replay behavior without requiring operators to think in terms of internal engine names.
Current operational surfaces
The current Web UI includes Dashboard, Operations, Violations, Quarantine, Audit, Approvals, Replay, Notifications, and Governance Workspace screens.
Route-aware behavior
A shared/default intent can belong to the Stream configuration while effective destination-specific behavior is Route-aware.
Important limits
- Some Governance Workspace functions are still read-only.
- The Workspace fan-out pattern scales as multiple API calls per Route and is not the preferred daily fleet dashboard at high route counts.
- SMTP notification delivery is disabled until SMTP is configured.
